Who doesn’t love a good blanket? I can not imagine many things that are as comforting as a cozy blanket on a cold evening or morning. One of my favorite things about camping is that the evenings and mornings can often be quite chilly. I had the joy of growing up with a camping family. So many memories of sleeping in the tent and spending all day outside. This was something that my husband and I made sure that our kids enjoyed as well.
One thing I don’t remember when I was younger was the bugs. As my kids grew, so did the size of the lumps from mosquito bites. Every night as we sit by the campfire, the mosquitoes start to change the ratio of humans to flying minibeasts.

Everything in moderation. Unless it is coffee, then I tend to get excessive. My favorite part of the camping trip is waking before everybody else, making my coffee, maybe a fire, and watching everything wake up. Since I am an earlier riser everybody else gets reheated coffee. We have tried some other products, but nothing is like camp coffee in a percolator, until I received Wildland Coffee.

Living in Minnesota in the spring is always an adventure. Over the course of a week, it is not strange to experience snow, rain, and storms, with temperatures ranging from freezing to hot.
