I recently reviewed Olight’s Baton 3 Pro 1500 Lumens Rechargeable Flashlight. It was a nice little flashlight that had a great running time and provided versatile lighting solutions. When Ollight asked if I’d review the Arkfeld Pro Flat EDC Flashlight with LED Light, UV, and Laser I was excited to try it out.

The Arkfeld Pro Flat EDC Flashlight with LED Light, UV, and Laser

Combining a powerful 1,300lm white light, 900mW UV light, and Class 3R green laser, the Pro White Light is ideal for daily illumination and the green laser serves multiple purposes such as presentations or highlighting a specific location outdoors. Trying the Flashlight Out
The flashlight arrived with super fast shipping, I had the flashlight in my mailbox less than 5 days after agreeing to do this review. I plugged it in and charged it overnight to make sure it was ready to go. Since the flashlight arrived in the winter we had plenty of darkness to try it out.
My son was visiting and was thrilled to have a new tool to play with. We took it out into the yard and just played with the different tools. The white light was perfect with different levels to provide just the right amount of light. The flashlight is small and lightweight so it is easy to carry but we found it also attached nicely to the brim of a hat and stayed put with the attached clasp.
We then tried out the laser pointer. You need to be careful with this laser with the large distance it covers. I was able to point out areas in the woods behind our house. For a little more fun we tried our hand at light painting.
The picture I included is clearly done by a novice but it was a ton of fun. I can see us doing more of this in the future.
One of the recommended uses for the laser pointer is as a pet toy but some dogs who play with lasers can develop anxiety and behavior problems. Since my dog is already pretty high-strung I decided this was not a good use of this tool for us.
When I first saw the UV light feature I was not very excited. Sometimes it’s easier to live in denial than to see everything you can see with a UV light. I discovered that there are a ton of uses for the UV light that will show you things you want to see. We used it to find reflective items in the yard.
It was cool how the frisbee and leash glowed and made them easy to find from over 15 feet away. I didn’t have a chance to go out looking for rocks, one of my favorite things to do when traveling, but the UV light is an excellent tool for locating rocks that glow under UV light like Yooperlites and Opals.
My Recommendation
This flashlight is fantastic. It is easy to carry with you and use, has multiple uses, and has a long battery life. My son fell in love with the flashlight and took it home with him, which says a lot about the quality of this product. He is a picky young adult. He used it for over a month without needing to charge it.
The one downside we found with this flashlight is the specific charger. It has the same magnetic charger as the Baton Pro flashlight I reviewed this fall. This makes it super easy to use and is a cool concept but it also requires you to bring an additional charger with you rather than being able to use a USB-C like most devices we have used. This is a small downside though considering the long life of this flashlight, if you are going away for a weekend and forget your charger, chances are you will not need to charge it anyway.
