Who doesn’t love a good blanket? I can not imagine many things that are as comforting as a cozy blanket on a cold evening or morning. One of my favorite things about camping is that the evenings and mornings can often be quite chilly. The only thing better than a cozy blanket is a wearable blanket that you can stay wrapped up in while doing more than holding on to the blanket so I was thrilled when I was asked to try out and review a Three Poodle wearable blanket.
Three Poodles specializes in selling wearable blankets to keep you warm. They were founded in 2021 and are committed to supporting a “warm and cozy lifestyle”. They are dedicated to creating a comfortable life for everyone. They sell a variety of blankets on their website including a TV Blanket, wearable blankets in both regular length and extra-long, and animal hooded blankets. I fell in love with the red plaid sherpa tv blanket when reviewing their products which they quickly sent me to try out. The wearable blanket arrived very quickly; it was at my door in just a few days.

The Blanket
This wearable blanket is designed to keep you warm and cozy while you are sitting. It is made of micro mink fleece, to make it soft and comfy. It is 72 inches long and 55 inches wide and has sleeves that you can slide your arms into when you are wearing the blanket. The color on the red plaid is vibrant. The inside of the blanket is a super soft white sherpa. This is not a flimsy lightweight blanket but very thick, lush, and solid. It also has a large front pocket to keep your hands warm.
How It Worked
I have to admit that I fell in love with the color of the blanket and thought I was requesting an extra-long hooded blanket based on what I saw in the pictures. I was a bit disappointed when I first received it, my son actually had to point out to me that I was supposed to put it on with the blanket in front of me. I first tried to put the blanket behind me and my arms through the holes. When I went back to the Three-Poodle website I saw that it was very clear what the blanket was. I just didn’t take the time to read it. Once I put the blanket on the correct way and used it, I was pleased with my selection.
I tried the wearable blanket out in a few different locations. The only couch we own is in our camper and it worked perfectly while sitting on the couch. When our couch and chairs in our house needed to be replaced a few years ago we decided to just skip them so we could enjoy having more floor space to live a more active life. So we sit on the floor or on some hammock chairs we can hang from the ceiling when we want to relax. The TV blanket worked wonderfully in the hammock chairs, it stayed in place much better than a regular blanket and I didn’t need to worry about it falling off when I adjusted my chair. For floor sitting, I think one of the hooded blankets would be a better option. I will certainly be packing the TV blanket on our fall camping trips.
Most of our fall camping trips involve my husband and son heading out in the early morning for duck hunting. I end up getting up super early and hanging out in the camper on my own on chilly mornings. Since it is usually dark for a few hours after they leave, I relish the quiet time to curl up on the couch with a book. This blanket is going to be perfect for these chilly mornings. It will often get down to 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit in the fall and making these mornings pretty chilly even with the furnace running.
If I’m going to take it camping, I also wanted to make sure that is washed well. I tossed it in the washer in cold water and hung it to dry. It looked brand new when I pulled it from the washer and it dried in about a day.
My Recommendation
I love the quality of this blanket. The sleeves make it very practical to use while sitting down. The fabric is high quality and feels indulgent. It also was easy to wash and help up well. I would gladly order another blanket from them. They have a wide selection to choose from. If you prefer to have a blanket that you can move around in the hooded blanket is a great option.

A wearable blanket seems a perfect idea for fall and winter! It’s so warm and cozy. I would love to have it. I think sitting on the terrace with this blanket is an excellent idea to keep me warm in chilly evenings or mornings. The size and color are great as well. Your camping vacation will be more pleasurable if you have a wearable blanket because you won’t have to worry as much about the chilly mornings and evenings. The craftsmanship and materials are wonderful and excellent. I adore the color because red is my favorite color. I suppose I’ll need this for my upcoming camping trip because I have a low tolerance for cold weather.

This wearable blanked from Three Poodle is exactly the type of winter wear I love! I am one of those people who never turn up the heat until I absolutely have to – in part because I enjoy the feeling of being all warm and cozy in a fluffy bathrobe. But this wearable blanket is even more appealing to me! I would be very happy lounging all day in it at home or while sitting out on my deck on a chilly morning having coffee. And I wouldn’t look like a slouch, either. Gotta get me one of these! Looks perfect for fall camping, too.

I am completely sold on this blanket. I would wear it even at home, let alone outdoors, as it looks so warm and I’m always cold! The big size sits well with me as does the colour.
As I go camping on longer treks or cycling tours without a car I would not use the wearable blanket on a camping trip. But it does look very comfortable, warm and even stylish at the same time. To me it seems perfect for chilly autumn days to sit on the balcony in the evening.
