I’m Carmen, and I’m 50 years old.  I started a travel blog with my husband on March 5, 2016, which was our 5th wedding anniversary.  I’m the main writer, photographer, and planner for the site.

I’ve been camping for as long as I can remember.  When I was little, we camped because that was all the vacation we could afford.  As a Girl Scout leader for 10 years, I spent many a weekend teaching girls how to cook outdoors and not burn down the woods.

Teaching is in my blood, and I have been a teacher for the past 18 years.  Currently, I am a 6th-grade ancient history teacher.

Casey Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. She attended the University of Delaware before moving to San Diego to begin her career in Digital Marketing. She loves going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Cassandra McBride is an avid hiker, kayaker, and enjoys camping with her four children and two dogs. She grew up hiking the Olympic Mountains in the Pacific Northwest, but now resides in the Smokey Mountain region of Appalachia where she enjoys writing and sharing her lifelong wisdom and expertise with other women.

Charmaine Miller is a life-long pet lover and animal rights advocate. She works as a pet sitter and dog walker by day and volunteers at a local animal shelter by night. In her spare time, she loves to bake, write, and sing to her favorite Beyonce songs.

Clare is a Visual Effects Producer, working in TV and film. As a huge fan of camping and with 3 children, Clare understands the magic of nature and the importance of fun activities to bring the family together during trips.
