Easy Food To Cook For One-Day Camping

Easy Food To Cook For One-Day Camping

By Amy Fox

You’ve probably gone camping and barbecuing around the country many times. It’s not about science, some wood, fire, and stove are ready. However, we have found ingenious camper food recipes that will not take you long and will allow you to prepare a variety of grilled dishes.

We offer some tips and recipes to help you easily prepare your food for camping while outside:

Camping breakfast burgers are the perfect breakfast next to camp.

When it comes to camper burgers – the perfect bun is a must. The burger is the most popular camper food because of the delicious meat, cheese, and soft bun, but also because of the aromatic sauces.

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml of lukewarm water,
  • 50 ml of lukewarm milk,
  • 50g of sugar, dry yeast,
  • bread flour,
  • 90g butter;
  • salt.

Preparation: Mix all the ingredients and let it rise for 15 minutes, then grill them in a special muffin pan. While mixing the pastries, we cooked the sausage. Then knead the burgers 7-8 cm in diameter. Spread them on both sides. Bake the eggs in the same muffin pan.

Assemble them in the same order, you prepared them, and you will get the perfect burgers for camping, breakfast, or dinner.

Roasted ground beef with crunchy nachos for camping lunch.

Grilled beef? You have decided to make roasted ground beef on a camping trip and delight your friends, but you do not know-how. Unusual in Europe, but in America, it’s a top-notch specialty. Enjoy the rich taste of the recipe we suggest:

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of ground beef;
  • 200 g onions;
  • 600 g tomatoes;
  • Nutmeg;
  • Pepper;
  • Salt.

Preparation: Stir in fine onion in ground beef. Add mashed tomatoes, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well, separate in an oiled pan. Peel the juicy tomatoes and cut into rings, then spread over the meat. Put in the pan on the grill and bake for about 30 minutes. Serve with crispy nachos.

Most people use beef in their diet because it is extremely tasty, but most do not know that it has some health benefits, especially those of organic origin. So enjoy the beef by the campfire!

Grilled eggs for the perfect start to the day.

Eggs contain saturated proteins, contain no harmful additives, are relatively inexpensive, and have many nutrients such as B12. Fast, easy, and delicious camper food.

Ingredients:

  • Onion;
  • Red peppers;
  • Eggs;
  • Salt.

Preparation: Put some oil in the pan and grill. Add the finely chopped onions and fry to soften then add fresh red peppers. Break the whole egg into vegetables. The amount depends on how many people you serve.

Chicken skewers with vegetables are the best camper food.

If you love grilled meats, the taste of these skewers may be quite different from what you’re used to, but it can also encourage you to take your vegetables as raw material for grilling.

Ingredients:

  • 300g chicken white meat;
  • 100g peppers;
  • 100g of mushrooms;
  • 50g red onion;
  • Sea salt.

Preparation:

Wash the meat and chop it. Then salt it, add the spices, mix everything nicely with your hand, and let it stand for a while. During this time, wash and peel the vegetables: peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Make skewers, cut through the meat and any vegetables you have stored on the sticks. Bake on the grill, turning the sticks occasionally.

These light and juicy variations are an ideal choice for camping as they are quickly saved so you can enjoy the rest of your time with friends. The grilling season is underway, and the chicken is going great with dark beer too!

French bread with coconut milk and banana is easy to grill on a camping trip.

French bread is extremely tasty and healthy. The shapes of French bread may be different, but the taste remains unchanged.

Ingredients:

  • Coconut milk;
  • Baking soda;
  • Baking powder;
  • Cinnamon;
  • Salt;
  • 115 g of softened margarine;
  • 50 g of brown sugar;
  • Vanilla sugar;
  • Eggs;
  • Bananas;
  • 100g yogurt.

Preparation: Combine the dry ingredient in one bowl: baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, mix coconut milk with brown and vanilla sugar, then add the eggs. Add a fork of banana to the fork as well as yogurt and combine everything well. Place over French bread and grill 20 minutes.

Grilled bacon is a perfect snack on a camping trip by the lake.

Recent research shows that, if consumed in moderation, bacon is great for human health as well as maintaining the line.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g bacon;
  • Pepper;
  • Wine vinegar;
  • Garlic.

Preparation: Cut the bacon into slices. Sprinkle with pepper and chopped young onions on all sides. On a preheated grill, the bacon is baked on both sides until it has a nice golden color. Pour over the vinegar and serve this delicious bacon to your camping friends.

Barbecue pizza, you thought, was impossible. Make pizza in beautiful surroundings with friends in nature.

The pizza is healthy. And she’s not healthy. It all depends on the ingredient you make and how much you eat. The point is that it is delicious and quick to prepare. We give you a phenomenal recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs;
  • Mayonnaise;
  • Flour;
  • Baking powder;
  • Salt;
  • Ham;
  • Ketchup.

Preparation: Combine eggs, mayonnaise, and salt in one bowl, then add flour mixed with baking powder and knead a smooth dough. Put the pizza in a cold oiled pan then grill. Coat with ketchup and sprinkle as desired. Cover and bake for 15 minutes on the rack for the perfect pizza.

We also recommend that you bring a hand-held fridge with you. The freshness of the food is very important, and a small fridge will make it easier for you to prepare your food later.

    Great post!! Who knows that you eat other than can food while camping. I usually pack ramen or things that require really less space and effort to eat whenever I go camping. I would love to try out the Chicken skewers with vegetables, sounds too fancy to be made on a camp side but love to try.

    Everything I read here is absolutely delicious and after a long hike, appetite is even bigger. I’d try Barbecue pizza as it seems incredibly easy to make. Unfortunately, we don’t have all these things here in Romania, but when we go hiking, the classic pasta with tomato sauce is very filling.
