    What a great idea! I wish I’ve known this when my son was younger, especially for the road trip! I’m sure the kids will get occupied with this, and their times spending outdoor will be more fun and adventurous! My husband did the same but different thing with trees in our yard. He put numbers on different trees, so when the Cub Scout went camping in the backyard they got to walk from tree #1 to tree #12 and learned about each of them.

    Great tips for photographing the young ones. Children are always hard to photograph, so it takes some skill to keep them relaxed and looking natural. Like you say, the best thing is to make them forget they are being photographed.
